The Qanvas development team takes your privacy seriously. Our policy prohibits us from collecting any personal information of any kind. By using Qanvas, you agree to this policy.
Information is accessed locally by the application, but this information never leaves the host machine. The information is not analyzed, or processed in anyway. Qanvas implements its own file explorer to offer a better user experience. To do so, the application must access the user’s pictures library. No information is collected, or transmitted. The accessed information is only displayed back to the user as required by a typical file explorer.
The file explorer offers perks compared to the file explorer provided by Windows. The ability to import images directly from the clipboard from within the file explorer would exemplify one of these perks. Qanvas also access information from the clipboard for this feature to work. Other examples are features currently in development and not yet present in the current build.
Currently we do not collect log data, but this policy allows us to collect it in the future if doing so improves the quality of the software. Log data would include error codes, and stack traces. Log data will not include any information to personally identify an individual and will be submitted anonymously.
This policy is effective as of 4/6/2017 and will remain in effect except with respect to any changes in its provisions in the future, which will be in effect immediately after being posted on this page. In the future we may update our privacy policy at any time. If you continue to use the software, you are in agreement of this privacy policy and any changes made to it, as you should periodically review this policy.
If you have any questions regarding our Privacy Policy, please do not hesitate to contact us.
